Adam Shaw has an unrivalled skill for communicating the world of international business in plain and understandable terms.

Now on his second series of Horizons, Adam has become one of the UK’s most recognisable faces of business journalism after his long-running presenting stint on BBC2’s Working Lunch, as business presenter of Radio 4’s Today programme and BBC1’s Panorama and The One Show.

He has previously won the accolade of Broadcaster of the Year from both The Plain English Campaign and the ABI, which represents major investors and insurers.

In addition to his passion for demystifying the complicated world of finances and business, Adam has a keen interest in the theatre and, as a young actor, even spent a season at the Royal Shakespeare Company!

Saima Mohsin

New to Horizons for series 2, Saima Mohsin joins the team to put to use her incredibly diverse experience.

In the past she has conducted hard-hitting interviews with prominent figures such as Hillary Clinton as well as a completely different style of interview with the cream of the Bollywood glitterati and Hollywood’s Tom Cruise.

She began her journalistic career over a decade ago and since then has worked across all the major UK news broadcasters as well as anchoring the DawnNews channel in Pakistan and working as a Special Correspondent for PBS Newshour in the US.

Away from presenting, Saima loves to sing & dance – having performed with the prestigious Johan Sebastian Bach Choir.
